Faustin Nuñez and José Manuel Gamboa, experts in flamenco, have worked on this edition travelling all over the most important names of the flamenco musical history thanks to an illustrated booklet with almost 200 pages and 12 CD with around 247 pieces. Each CD approach different styles : from the alboreas to the zorongo, alegrias, bulerias, romances, popular rumbas, sevillanas, saetas and different regional tangos. Amongst you will find representative artists. You will also find a listenning guide for each piece and style as a flamenco jargon dictionary.
By the way, this guide has been made to study the flamenco by styles and to listen to their most representative singers. Classified by alphabetlical order. As a guide this book goes with the twelve CDs making easier a deep and pleasant treatment.
You will find universal flamenco names - Camarón de la Isla, Paco de Lucía, El Lebrijano, El Niño de Barbate ou Manolo Caracol - and less popular names but with so much meaning as the Bandolás of Alfredo Arrebola, the levanticas of Antonio Piñana, the rondeñas from Malaga of Jacinto Almadén or the Toná chica and the Christ of Rafael Romero.
