Estrella Morente showes her charm from the Sacromonte around the Maestranza

La cantaora Estrella Morente fue ovacionada la noche del domingo en la Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla durante el estreno absoluto de 'Estrella de Granada'
Estrella Morente
The singer Estrella Morente has been applauded on Sunday night during the Flamenco Bienal of Seville for the premiere of the show "Estrella de Granada", accompanied by the Cuadro Gitano of the Sacromonte. The daughter of Enrique Morente, who conceived the show, got together on stage of the Maestranza Theater a team one hundred per cent of Granada. The showing of an audio-visual that recovers the period between the Second Republic and the Civil War, is a way to recall an historical event, the Contest of Cante Jondo in 1922. Recalling Antonio Chacón, Manolo de Huelva, Manuel Torres, Montoya and Pastora Pavón La Niña de los Peines, she began the show in a sensual way. She was wearing an elegant dress created by Victor y Lucchino (like the whole wardrobe) and she offered "Qué quieres de mi", her famous zambra.

"Tomatito" entusiasma al público del sevillano Teatro del Maestranza con su espectáculo "Luz de guía"
Tomatito

The guitarist José Fernandez Torres "Tomatito" made enthusiastic the public of the sevillan Maestranza theatre with hisshow "Luz de guía (The eternal twinkle)", title dedicated to the singer Camaron de la Isla, of whom he has been the guitaristduring 20 years and with whom he started at 15 years old.
The guitarist did not play except at the begining of the concert, a "taranta" which ended up by "fandangos", accompaniedby a second guitar, two percussionists and the voice of three singers, like Simón Román and Juanito de Íllora."Tomatito" has been received by an ovation when he came to the sober stage, on which everything was black except theguitar and the shirt of the master. Just the lights seed to dye of a light blue the background of the stage when the guitarist and his accompanists launched into the liveliest palos and the most rhytmical compositions.

Farruquito estrenará 'Sonerías' en la Bienal el 21 de septiembre en el Maestranza
Farruquito
Fhe Biennial of Flamenco of Sevilla is, without any doubt, the most important Flamenco Festival in the world and one of the festivals with the greatest international impact, that is celebrated in our country. Farruquito, one of the key pieces of Flamenco, will take part in this new edition disclosing, the presentation of his new show, "Sonerías".
A new show written by the "bailaor", that in this occasion adds new elements in the choréographie (more people with the presence of four "bailaoras"), the scenographie and the argument, in a script of fusions and artistic sensibilities, always in the structure of the "Arte Flamenco", that characterized the past and present of the sevillian artist. Like in the beginning of Arte, with the "cantes" of "Ida y Vuelta", the Flamenco is reunited in la Habana with the rich musical culture of Cuba, almost as ours as our own folklore. It unites the elements of the XX century, like jazz, El Son, La Salsa or the Bolero.
Two passions united by the link of the orthodoxy of Flamenco that Juan Manuel Fernández always defends.
