Serious , sober ,deep” says the singer born in 1955 in the in the flamenco neighbourhood called Santiago de Jerez de la Frontera. Mi única llave is a flamenco , impecable album with great musical richness and good guitar-players. This album is elaborated with few elements that covers all the sonic spectrum in a good work made by Javier who has achieved  to hold the album just with guitars, percussions, clappings and little more. This album has also collaborations with Eric Truffaz (Trumpeter),Allain Mallet (Piano) and Layth Al-Rubave (violinist) that provide to the album connexions with other kind of musics.

"Quijote de los sueños" the new work of Arcángel

Se pone a la venta Quijote de los sueños el cuarto trabajo discográfico de Arcángel.
Arcangel
On October 11 will be released his fourth album. He defines it as "a varied album with many fronts, with quality in the texts, providing new concepts ... is the claim: purity and renewal. Inquire within flamenco melodies with fresh air. " This Archangel is his new album, Quixote's dreams, which will go on sale on October the 11th.
Considered one of the great performers, authors and innovators of modern flamenco, Arcángel has recorded an album of great artistic height, rooted in the tradition but in a spirit quite contemporary. "The modifications of the structures have to be from the base," he says. "Over the past 40 years, flamenco has undergone tremendous changes and the shows have to compete with other musical offerings. People are stepping up, but sometimes we have taken things were not going so well. Now, after the boom, flamenco wants to evolve from the root, more solid. "
When you hear" Pa 'que tanto discutir", the opening track of Quixote dreams, these words make sense. They are huge beautyful tangos with Arcángel and Dorantes music and lyrics by José Luis Ortiz Nuevo wrapped in magnificent arrangements by Dorantes, who also sits at the piano, guitars and Daniel Mendez and Miguel Angel Cortes, which run almost everything in the album. Archangel has achieved a matter of great elegance, with transitions that mix contemporary music, jazzy piano playing with echoes of Keith Jarrett and exceptional rhythmic balance without losing the essence
