This meeting with flamenco in Seville will be celebrated from the 3d to the 30th of september and brings in 2012 a lot of news. The flamenco artist, Estrella Morente, will be in charge, on the 17th of february, to open in the Circo Price Theatre, the twentieth edition of the flamenco Bankia Festival, that pays tribute to the guitarist Moraito Chico, failed on august.

Yoko Komatsubara irá de gira con su nuevo espectáculo, "Pasión del flamenco", por 16 ciudades japonesas en colaboración con el Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco.

Yoko Komatsubara, a veteran dancer, choreographer and flamenco of several schools in Japan that will perform her new show, "Flamenco Passion" in 16 Japanese cities in collaboration with the "Instituto Andaluz del Flamenco", stated: "Flamenco is almost our art in Japan. "

With over two hundred students of flamenco dance, distributed in twelve academies in Japan, with headquarters in Tokyo,  Komatsubara is in  charge of the direction and choreography, in collaboration with Currillo de Bormujos, of "Passion of flamenco," which will run between September the 20th and October the 14th.

The director says her ambition is that flamenco is better known around the world and even more deeply in Japan, which calls for annual competition among its students and scholarship winners to stay in "sevillanas" academies, working in this She also collaborates in this flamenco promotion with the Min-on Japanese Foundation, a state entity dedicated to establishing cultural links between different cultures.
