We don't know if it is half a truth with a touch of romanticism, or because it's a legend, but the truth is that the relationship of the flamenco with the train has given birth to a lot of stories. We tell that the songs development is due to the activity of the workers of the train going from Seville to Cadix. Those from Lebrija were going to Utrera and those from Jerez to Lebrija, those from Cadix to Jerez... Later we changed the capital city thanks to this transport, that got together all the flamenco stars in Madrid at the beginning of the 20. Century. This is the source of a famous anecdote talking about the Caracol el del Bulto, father of Manolo Caracol. After going through the Sierra Morena the train dashed forward and whistled twice while the Caracol was sleeping. Then the artist shouted out discontent.
