The Capricho de Granadillo Bezana Castanets have been created under the inspiration and guidance of renowned concert performer Mar Bezana, a model designed by professionals for professionals who seek the highest quality in their instrument. This model is part of our highest range of handmade castanets, crafted from stained beech wood, which gives them the noble and elegant appearance of granadillo wood.
The production process guarantees not only a luxurious finish, but also a commitment to caring for the environment, as the felling of this wood is controlled and certified by specialised organisations. Thanks to this selected wood, the castanets offer a fine, harmonious and surprisingly clear sound, ideal for stages and concerts.
Each pair is engraved with the JUAN VELA SEVILLA brand, a symbol of authenticity and tradition. They stand out as the lightest model in the entire range, with a rounded shape that makes them easy to hold and improves comfort when playing.
The handcrafted manufacturing process ensures that each instrument has a unique and unrepeatable character. As they are made from natural wood, each castanet has different grains and tones, making each piece unique. The model is available with or without a beak, which does not alter the sound but allows you to customise its design.
These castanets are only manufactured in a normal box, achieving a perfect balance between clarity and resonance. They also include our special handmade faux leather case with sheepskin interior and metal fasteners, available in several colours to protect and keep your castanets in perfect condition.

We’re open from Monday – Friday 10h-13:30h / 17:00-20:00h and Saturdays 10h-13:30h (GMT + 1).
