Luzia. Paco de Lucia. Score Book
Description
LUZIA, Paco de Lucia’s VII score book. The eight songs in this sublime album mark a before and after in flamenco, reaching unbelievable heights of writing and interpretation never seen before.
Luzia is masterpiece that surprised all flamenco fans. An album that prioritizes the compass and harmonies of flamenco. With these eight pieces, the master experiments with more traditional styles such as soleá, seguiriya or rondeña in order to find a “new formula” for the compositional development of flamenco guitar, achieving a unique and exciting album. Listening to the master with Camarón is the most sensitive and exciting thing that has ever been recorded in flamenco music.
The transcriptions are made for one and two guitars depending on the theme. The melodies of the Duquende song and Paco de Lucía have also been transcribed. The pieces are shown in note and tablature with fingerings of both hands and dynamic. The interpretation of Paco de Lucía is as important as its composition, in Luzia he displays a great interpretative mastery.
