Handmade Embroidered Shawl of Natural Silk. Ref. 1010612AZLMRN
Description
Bordados Foronda is the oldest house in Seville dedicated to the manufacture of embroidered shawls. Currently, Bordados
Foronda has made Manila shawls for the Spanish Royal House, as well as for other European Royal Houses.
The Manila shawl is strongly associated with flamenco dance and Andalusian folklore, although it is a complement to the
dress, also used by the singers and, in some periods, it has been used as an everyday garment.
The production is entirely handmade, only the hands of the artisans touch the products, no machines participate.
Both the embroidery and the fringes are made by hand.
All shawls are made from authentic natural silk, stitch by stitch, with all the love that our
women from Andalusia are capable of giving and finished with the unmistakable grace of the Sevillian fringe.
