These red-grained wooden castanets with V-shaped ears for professional use are handmade by Castañuelas del Sur.
Castañuelas del Sur is a company based in Sevilla and founded by the master craftsmen Juan and José Vela Hernández, sons of Manuel Vela « Filigrana ».
These castanets are made of wood layers coated with resin. Their sound is subtle and harmonic.
Very Important: The color of the case may NOT be the same as in the picture.

Grained Wood nº 5 (9,3 cm x 7 cm).
Grained Wood nº 7 (8,7 cm x 6,6 cm)
All castanets made by Castañuelas del Sur are engraved according to their use.
