Paco de Lucía, master of masters, his music will always be alive and will continue to be the musical reference for this genre. He has left us a legacy with humility and mastery, as happens among the greatest. The work of the brilliant maestro from Algeciras, gathered in his extensive discography, is more than enough proof to categorically state that he has been one of the greatest personalities of 20th and 21st century music.
Within the official Paco de Lucía collection, at the request of the maestro's scholars, we have decided to produce two volumes of greatest hits.
This book is the first volume and includes 8 pieces of great importance in Paco de Lucía's career. Although we know that all his discography is a success, we have selected the ones we consider the most extraordinary, such as "Entre dos aguas", "Almoraima", "Solo quiero caminar" and "Antonia", pieces that revolutionised flamenco guitar by far.
The transcriptions are made for one and two guitars depending on the theme. The pieces are shown in notation and tablature with fingerings for both hands and dynamics. Paco de Lucia's interpretation is as important as his composition.
It is important to note that the songs Guajiras de Lucía, Entre dos aguas and Almoraima have been transcribed again by David Leiva for inclusion in this book of hits.
