Ana Fernández Molina, also known as "Ana Parrilla", born in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz). Her grandfather was Juan Fernandez Moreno, known as the "Tio Parrilla de Jerez", and her mother Bernarda Molina Vega born in Algeciras, her brothers Juan Parrilla "guitarrista", Manuel Fernandez Molina "Parrilla" and her sister Manuela. Her uncles were Gregorio Fernandes "Parrila", Juan Fernandez "Tio Juanichi Parrilla", Manuel Fernandez "El Sernita de Jerez" and Juana Fernandez "Tia Juana da de El Pipa".
Died in July 11. in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz), victim of a long illness.
From her youth she exelled in festivals and "tablaos" in Malaga, Madrid and Cadiz. In 1970 she accompanied her brother to the "Trini de España", José Menese, Antonio Nuñez "Chocolate" in the "Tablao flamenco" in Cadiz.
In September 1971 she went to Mexico D.F. with Enrique Morente and her brother "Parrilla de Jerez" with a contact fpr three months and a half. She is back in Spain on December 20.
From March to July 1972 she performed with her brother Manuel, in Marbella in teh "tablao Fiesta". Then the brothers performed in the Lola Flores "tablao" in Puerto Banús, in September in the "Caripén" of Madrid until end of October. On November 1. she obtained a contract, also with her brother, for a tour in South Africa and Rhodesia until February 17.
In February 1974 she is again on tour with her brother for the ballet "Luisillo", a tour through Venice, Genoa and other Italian cities, they will be back in Spain at the end of March 1974.
In September 1978 she performed with her two brothers and nephew Manuel Parrilla in the "Congreso de actividades de flamenco" in Zamora, directed by Manuel Torre and the Tio Parrila, her father.
In 1979, she is in "La Venta del Gato" in Madrid. And in 1984, with her brother, Curro Malena and Chano Lobato, perform in the following cities: Kortrij and Muscrón (Belgium) and in Brussels in July.
In 1992 in the show Ana Parrilla "de Jerez a Cai", they performed during the EXPO 92 in the Andalusian pavilion but also outside the EXPO enclosure during 6 months until they close the EXPO in October. They obtained the prize of the best flamenco during teh EXPO 92,
They went all over Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
In 1984 she obtained the "Copa Jerez de la Catedra de Flamencologia y Estudios Folkloricos Andaluces".
Amoung her outstanding performances stands out her participation in the "III Cumbre Flamenca" of Madrid, in 1986, in the "Teatro Alcalá Palace" now named "Nuevo Teatro Alcala", accompanied by her brothers on the guitar and with the singing of Antonio de Malena.
