Description:
New Flamenco is set to visit new boundaries with this album from José el Francés, 'Alma '. The song 'Ya no quiero tu querer', one of the best new flamenco songs af all time, shows that 'commercial' and 'quality' can live together in a lively and positive environment. The album includes both the radio edit version and a remix. José el Francés has had to wait until his third album to achieve a success he well deserved. The Montpellier born artist invited for this record people like Niña Pastori, Vicente Amigo or Minu Cinelu, from Weather Report. But José Rodríguez Vázquez, José el Francés, has always had a 'duende'. From his early years in Montpellier (southern France), and since he was fourteen when he moved to the Madrid neighbourhood of Vallecas. With mentors like El Montijano or Pepe de Lucía, José el Francés has written songs that already belong to the emotional inheritance of those who closely followed the Jóvenes Flamencos saga, the one that Mario Pacheco registered with great care and wisdom in his record company Nuevos Medios.
