Flamenco Chill

Flamenco Chill is a new proposal created during the last months, a fusion between flamenco and chill out. This is a new way to listen to flamenco, always with a warm and sensual ambient of sounds.
The Flamenco Chill is a revolutionary concept, curious Andalusia word to designate a sort of tent, specially raised to protect against the sun and the wind, generally on the beach.

Flamenco Chill is a musical subculture, coming from the flamenco and electronic ambient music fusion. It is Henrik Takkenberg who called this new concept "Flamenco Chill" to differentiate this music style from the "Flamenco Chillout". Takkenberg does not believe that this designation described the substance of this new musical style and wanted to distinguish between both types, Chill and Chillout, pretty popular in Ibiza. Thanks to Henrik Takkenberg and to the Cnambao group, this new musical growth on the Pedregalejo beach, in Malaga, during the 2001 summer.
