Miguel Poveda delight us with his voice all along the 18 coplas included on this new double cd; music by Joan Albert Amargós, collaboration of Juan Gómez "Chicuelo" and Alberto Iglesias on "A ciegas".
On this double cd "Coplas del Querer" the artist involves himself in the selection of the themes, choosing his favourite coplas among a large repertoire of traditional songs but also some less known themes, surprising his public. Joan Albert offers him a tailor-made costume, recreating the coplas, improving them and turning them more trendy. "Coplas del Querer", a disc that will leave its mark on the copla world. In Pedro Almodovar's movie, "Los abrazos rotos", Miguel Poveda sings a "zambra" based on a picture taken by Maxi del Campo.
