Lole and Manuel's music is not progressive nor symphonic rock but it is part of the birth of Andaluz rock. Their music was not conventional nor classic flamenco, it was about being at the forefront of flamenco with a new rhythm. Their pastoral lyrics were written by the poet Jose Manuel Flores, who broke the mold of sour and sorrowful lyrics from conventional flamenco by composing sensitive ones about butterflies, breezes and fresh tree branches.
