Special Book for Kids.

The Spanish National Ballet is looking for ways to reach a new public while promoting the understanding, knowledge and appreciation of our Spanish Dance. Therefore, for the first time in its history, the Spanish National Ballet is publishing a Spanish Dance book for kids: "Bailando un Tesoro" (Dancing a Treasure), a book to reach out to younger audiences, so they can learn about Spanish dancing and the Spanish National Ballet.

One of the Spanish National Ballet´s most important goals is to preserve and diffuse the rich Spanish choreographic patrimony, collecting its stylistic variety and its traditions represented in many ways: folklore, bolera school, stylistic dance and flamenco. This book has a specific goal: to reach out to the youngest ones in the most attractive way and with a focus on illustrations, book flaps and dies as well as a simple but well-written text . This is a unique tool to offer to the younger generations as an opportunity to discover the Spanish Dance and the Spanish National Ballet, which is the guardian of our rich dancing patrimoine. One of the most important figure of the Spanish Dance, Mariemma used to say: "Love the dance. What is ignored can´t be loved". This is our goal. This book is an original idea from the Spanish National Ballet under the direction of Antonio Najarro.
