My way is a webpage developed by Flamenco Export for the purchase of customized flamenco shoes.
The process of ordering that we will explain next consists in some simple steps that you must complete to obtain the shoes that you wish.
Once you access to the home page of My way, you will see at the bottom some examples of shoes already customized by customers who have previously used this webpage. To start the process, click on START.
BASIC MODEL SELECTION
In Flamenco Export we have 19 basic models to customize, 3 for men (Bota, Inglés Hombre and Carácter) and 16 for women. If you hover the cursor over each model you will see a short description of it, its base price and the last shoes of that model customized.
To continue, click on the CUSTOMIZE button of the chosen model.
SHOE CUSTOMIZATION – Size and width
This is the home page of the customizing process and where all the necessary tasks to obtain your shoes are carried out.
We start by describing the different zones it is composed by.
In the first place, you have on the top left part the name of the basic model selected and its base price, what depending on the chosen options will vary. This variation will be automatically shown.
Below these two sections, is where the Size and the Width are, the two first parameters to complete. Choose your size and, referring to the width, there are two: A for normal feet (90% of them) and AA for wider feet, feet with bunions and square feet.
Below the Size and Width section there is the main section of material selection in terms of customizable zones. The kind of heel that you wish and the finishes, what consists in that your shoes have a kind of sewing or another and if they are going to have nails or not.
In the central part, you will see the figure of the shoe that you are customizing and it will show the materials that you have selected in the different parts of the shoe. On its right you have the two available views, the front one and the lateral one. Below the figure there are some boxes where the customizable zones are indicated and that will show the materials that you choose for each of them. At their right you will also see the kind of heel when this is selected.
This page also shows at the top part an explicative text about the task that you have to do in each page with Lola, the Cow, and below the two views of the shoe at the right there is the Finish and Add to basket button (this implies the step to the paying process of Flamenco Export) and the delivery schedule of the customized shoe.
Next, we will explain the main materials box and its 3 tabs:
Step nº1 MATERIALS TAB
Each model has several customizable zones (except from the boot for man). These zones can be selected in the pull-down list that is below the title Materials and colour. You can also select them on the picture of the shoe that you have in the central zone. For each zone you have to apply a material. The available materials are Suede, Tenant Leather and Leather. Each of them has its own range of colours. Once selected the material for a zone, this will be applied on the picture of the shoe and in the boxes of each zone. The selected material can be changed choosing again that zone and choosing other colour.
Step nº2 HEELS TAB
There are different shapes and heights of heels. If you hover the cursor over one of them, a photograph of it appears. Choose the one that best adapts to your style. On the right of the selected material boxes a box with the selected heel appears.
Step nº3 FINISHES TAB
Finishes are the sewing of the sole and the option of having nails or not. If you hover the cursor over each of the options you will see a photograph to understand what they mean and you can choose the one that is most advisable for you.
Finally, once you have chosen the model of the shoes, their size, their width, the material for each zone of the shoe, their kind of heel and their final finishes of their sole, you have only to click on the Add to basket button to access to the payment process.
