This montera (bullfighter's hat) that imitates astrakhan has an exceptional quality.
When a bull's figure is consecrated, an authentic astrakhan montera has to be done.

The montera is traditionally the hat of toreros.
It is one of the elements of the dressing that has the most evolved.
The hat with three sharp points was used until the 19th century but then the 'montera' was more usual. This one is made from a curly material very similar to the hair and plentiful of velvet.
